Betty’s Fireworks

Founded 57 years ago, Betty's Fireworks traces its origins to the late 1960s when Betty Mead began selling bottle rockets and firecrackers nine miles north of Milbank, SD next to the farm where she grew up. Throughout the years Betty's Fireworks has become a definitive icon of the Milbank area with repeat customers that span 4 generations. Many travel hours to not only purchase fireworks, but live the nostalgia of their youth when grandpa would take them out to Betty's to get the family fireworks for the 4th. All along Betty was there to greet her customers with a warm smile and a fresh baked cookie. Now partnered with her grandsons Ben and Isaiah, who grew up learning from the best, Betty's Fireworks continues the tradition of family, friendship, and love of fireworks.
